Clouds after Seegmiller and Parrish
I used Don Seegmiller's cloud brush in Corel Painter 2016 to paint this. I also sampled colors from a Maxfield Parrish painting (I believe it's titled "Angel"). I could noodle on this for days, but art has to be abandoned to be finished. :)

This is large enough for art prints, canvas and photo prints.
Cloud 9
This is a completely original painting, done in Corel Painter. I started with a white canvas and did not use any photographs for reference, or anything – it's totally "from memory". I started playing with a "cloud brush" from Don Seegmiller that I've had it forever, but have used it very little. I think that will change from now on. In fact I save my own brush variant based upon this, and that's what I used for most of this painting.

This is available for purchase in standard DeviantArt formats!

If you'd like an 8x10 you can print for free, see here:…
Cannabis Poster - Large Leaf 002
Cannabis Poster 1 - Large Cannabis Leaf. Prints available to make use as posters. The above image is watermarked. Of course your print will not be.

Completely original art done from a study of a photo. Colors are punched on purpose to make it visible, yet recognizable.
Cannabis Mandala 3
This is a 16 x 20 image created in high resolution, suitable for printmaking. You can buy this as an art print, a canvas or a photograph. For full-size, choose photograph. Click the "Buy Print" link at the right.

Thank you for taking a moment to look further into this aspect of my art. I welcome all questions and comments.

Alive.... Mostly.... Right.... Well, pretty sure, now. And you?

I've got a few animated drawing studies on Youtube here:… Hopefully more (than 21) before too long.

I'm in Battlefield, MO USA. I majored in art, minored in music, then taught myself to program and switched professions to computer programming for 25+ years. I worked my way up to "Software Engineer, Advanced". I'm currently on disability, for a number of reasons....

After several hand surgeries, I'm working on my skills in drawing and illustration again, as I can. I still love art and programming, too. However, my conditions prevents me from programming, but not drawing(!), so... I'm looking at it as a blessing to get back to art.

Now you know more than most people! ;-)

Thank you for noticing/remembering! I was reading your Italian poem this morning. I still have to use Google Translate for parts of them, and then it usually gets the syntax wrong, but with my knowledge of Latin, Spanish and etymology, in general, I believe I'm able to get your meanings, and also maintain the "beat" or "feel" of the Italian. And the more I read, the more I understand the next time!!!

So, I said all that just so you understand why I can say this: your poetry is very beautiful! :) Your symbolism can be very deep, too... unless I'm imagining those, which I can't be... unless you are a prodigy. ;)

Anyway, thanks, to me your wish means even more than some from my friends right here in this state! :) (Smile) Hug +fav
